about

Sophomore album from Fektion Fekler.

Sideline Magazine review-n27 MayJune/July 99
It’s a long time ago I heard something about the American Fektion Fekler! “Kling Klang Bedlam” is a complete album for it’s content and its production work! This band meticulously intermingle several influences together going from atmospheric (Dehabilated”, “Maker, make believe”) to dark electro (“Just another try”) to crystalline compositions (“Limbic”, “Reverb Deficiency”) to dub (“Overway”) The common point between all the these pieces is the artistic elaboration of the structures. This band avoids to repeat itself and realized a hard labor to compose an enlightening electro music. It’s a long time ago that a whole album caught that much of my attention. There’s no real hit, but not one single inconsistent song. The constant quality and fascination holds me on from the first till the last note! I’m just afraid that this modern electro entity will not get the deserved interest of a wider audience, just because they seem to strike against established styles...but if you’re tired of the same old hype, “Kilng Klang Bedlam” will be the magical words to open new horizons. Review: "I first heard of them on a industrial comp from Industrial Nation ( #3 to be exact) and loved the song so from there I went and got this album. At first I was a little disappointed and maybe a little thrown off by all the dimensions that this CD takes the listener to. Then after playing it again a few days later it started to grow on me like fungus. The more and more I listened to it the more I feel in love with it. Each song breaks all the rules of industrial dance mixes and pushes the bar of the listener's mind to worlds that are crazy pleasurable! If u are looking for something new and refreshing in a genre that has become stale then pick this up!"
